A hotel lobby anchored by a sculptural bronze spiral staircase.
Guests arrive through a shaded colonnade, and the lobby keeps that hush. Terrazzo underfoot, a single brass reception desk, and light that drops as the evening does.
Furniture was made locally so the hotel could repair and re-oil it for years.
